“It just boggles my mind how clueless we all have been.”

Pencil drawing of Dári from the novel Badass Patrick

Dári

Patrick's Twin Sister
At 15, Patrick's sister Dári is one of the toughest young women in the book. She survives drowning, kidnapping, attacks by demons, and everything the author can throw at her. For some reason, she's able to come out of every situation with her friends and herself alive.

Born Jul 28, 0384 (15y) - 5' 7" (1.7m)

Physical Appearance

Short black hair, because she cut it after her mother died, and it is finally looking relatively normal three years later. She has white blue eyes just like her mother. Dári has pale white skin with tiny freckles on her cheeks and forehead, more Irish looking than of Italian/French descent.. She's tall compared to other kids in town at 5'7" (1.7 meters)

Quirks

She has a devious face, that smirks on one side especially if she is about to roast  you.

Dári is fast, extremely fast, runs like the wind - fast and is constantly running everywhere. She hard to keep up with.

She likes to talk about her mom a lot, recalling memories that may or may not have happened, glorifying her in ways that seem outlandish.

She carries Alphie her stuffed animal everywhere, sometimes tucking it into her waistband.

Role in the Story

She is the one that likes to "get serious" when others, especially Auggie, are joking around. Possibly because she likes Auggie but also because she is naturally sarcastic.

Even though she's Patrick's twin sister and in her younger life spends a tremendous amount of time mocking him. Later as they band together she becomes one of his disciples. As a female, this was very unusual in Roman society but the Irish have often had women fight alongside the male warriors and in many cases the men fought along their side.

Traits

Just like her twin brother Patrick, she is hyper-confident and a natural leader. Being practically orphaned when their mom died and dad went a little mental, she and her brother learned to fend for themselves. They became street smart and a fast judge of character.

Tends to be the more realistic one in the family, pragmatic to the point of argument.

To others, she is a lady, and polite to the core.
