Scráven (Rotherdag Hunter)
“…do not hinder me, or I will terminate you. Understand”
Scráven
Relentless Rotherdag Hunter
Augie is one of the funniest people in the book constantly looking for ways to make people laugh in tough situations. One of the things I like about him the most is the way he bounces up and down on the balls of his feet as he talks most of the time with his hands in his pocket. Reminds me a little of Gordon Ramsay in the way he moves. Augie is definitely a bad ass and deserves his own Badass Novel someday (hint hint)
Age unknown
Physical Appearance
“The creature looked nothing like anything she had imagined in her worst nightmare.”
- He’s a Sealgair Diabhal (or hunter devil)
- 7’3″ tall with the colorless skin of a cadaver
- dressed like a lord, with tailored pants and a dark vest, covered in a scale like material.
- Hair horns
- Dark goatee
- Constant scowl on his face
- Scar above his right eye from where Patrick hit him with the rock
“A very tall and nasty looking creature. The peculiar thing was, its legs worked wrong as if his knees were on backwards, sort of like a stork walking on the riverbank. You know, like that.”
Quirks
When it speaks, it ends is words with gh. “Howgh longh dogh igh havgh togh waitgh?”
Role in the Story
Scraven plays an important role in the novel as a thorn in most of Patrick’s plans. He relentlessly hunts Patrick until he is finally killed
Traits
If has the ability to pull energy from victims
Once it’s ordered to kill someone, it is relentless in achieving its murderous goal.
Does not have any loyalty
Almost OCD in its task driven style.
